GraphTalk is returning to town for an inspiring evening to learn about the power of graphs. The Neo4j graph data platform has been utilized by hundreds of Fortune 500 companies globally, solving complex data challenges for large companies in finance, telecommunications, retail, utilities, logistics, and the public sector.

Whether you are new to graph databases and GDS or have some experience with them, the talks in this event will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need, as well as inspiration to get started with these powerful technologies.

This event will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about:

  • The basics of graph databases, Cypher query language, and the GDS library
  • Hands-on examples of how to use Neo4j and GDS for graph data science tasks like community detection, centrality calculation, and pathfinding
  • How to create and manipulate data in a Neo4j database and use the GDS library to perform graph data science tasks on it
  • How to use Neo4j and GDS together to gain insights from their graph data
  • Digital Tvilling's experiences using graph databases for digital twins
  • How Digital Tvilling applies graphs in real-life projects with clients Trafikverket and LKAB

Introducing Cypher: Mastering the Neo4j Graph Query Language (1-hour Workshop)

Join our extra hands-on workshop on Feb 16 from 16:30-17:30 to learn about the powerful labeled property graph database Neo4j and its query language, Cypher. The session begins with an overview of Neo4j and its differences from other databases, followed by a comprehensive introduction to Cypher, including syntax and common use cases. Through hands-on exercises and examples, attendees will learn how to use Cypher to query, manipulate, and visualize data in Neo4j. The workshop features a live demo using a popular movie database to demonstrate Cypher and Neo4j's capabilities.

Finally, real-world use cases of Neo4j and Cypher will be discussed, highlighting the success stories of companies who have adopted this technology to solve complex data challenges. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a strong understanding of Cypher and be able to use Neo4j for their own projects.
