Starting on 3 August, 2020, we'll be running a four-week themed event for you all to tantalise those thought processes. We'll be hosting regular live streams, as well as technical blog posts on various topics around graphs. With something for beginners and experienced alike, you will not want to miss out!


What can I expect?

The challenges, released weekly over four weeks, will be based on:

  • The online day out - deciding which virtual museums and galleries to visit
  • The virtual whodunit - solving a murder mystery
  • The barbeque - planning for a socially distancing event
  • Exploring the local area - discovering your neighbourhood

Jesús Barrasa
Director of Sales Engineering EMEA

Jesús is an engineer based in London. He's leading Neo4j's efforts on the Telecoms industry, and his mission is to get all Telcos in the world getting value from graphs with Neo4j.

He combines over 15 years of profesional experience in consulting in the Information Management space. Prior to joining Neo Technology, Jesús worked at Ontology (now EXFO) for seven years, where he got first hand experience with large graph DB deployments in many successful projects for major Telecommunications companies all over the world.


Stefan Kolmar
Vice President, Field Engineering EMEA & APAC

Stefan has been in Technical Pre-sales roles for more than 15 years, working for companies such as Tandem, Compaq, and Portal Software with specific emphasis on database technologies. More recently, he took on lead Pre-Sales and Consulting roles in the DACH region for TimesTen (in-memory relational database). After TimesTen was acquired by Oracle (2006), Stefan grew to lead the entire European Oracle ISV/OEM Pre-Sales team as the Director of Sales Consulting.

Álvaro Oslé
Director of Engineering – Global Architecture, Ciena Blue Planet

Álvaro is a seasoned telecoms and OSS expert with over 20 years of experience. Passionate about bringing innovative software products to market, Álvaro is specialized in Service Fulfillment, Network Inventory Management and Service Assurance across all network technologies. During his career, he has worked with large Software Providers and System Integrators in large and complex IT and Telco Transformation projects for large Communication Service Providers around the world. Álvaro is now working for Ciena focused on driving the architecture for the BluePlanet software portfolio.

Adam Cowley
Developer Experience Engineer at Neo4j

Adam is a full-stack developer charged with the sole aim of making developers lives easier. Following just over two years of experience in the field working with clients of all sizes, his experience is now being channeled into improving the experience of developers by improving documentation, providing examples and developing component kits which help developers impress their bosses. Away from the computer, Adam can be found cooking, playing pool or experimenting with technology.
